Do you guys ever feel confused at some point in your life?
You know what you want to do but you don’t know where to start from.
It’s just like a storm in your head you can’t push through.
How do you navigate situations like this?
Sometimes, it’s like your brain is doing ‘zigzag.’
One minute you’re sure of your plans; the next minute, you’re doubting everything, asking yourself, “Who send me message?”
You start overthinking, scrolling Instagram to “find inspiration,” and before you know it, two hours are gone, and you’re still where you started.
Don’t worry, I’ve been there too. I think most of us have.
It’s not easy when you have big dreams but no clear road map.
So here’s what I do when I find myself in this kind of wahala.
1. Write it all down.
I know this sounds basic, but trust me, it works. Just pour out everything on your mind like you're writing a story—what you want to do, what’s stressing you, what you’re scared of.
Sometimes, seeing your thoughts on paper helps you connect the dots.
2. Take it one step at a time.
This is where most of us mess up. We want to do everything at once. Relax, abeg.
Pick one small thing you can do today. Just one. Even if it’s Googling how to start, sending one email, or asking someone for advice. Small progress is still progress.
3. Talk to someone.
I know we all like to “form” independence, but honestly, having someone to talk to makes a big difference. It could be your friend, your sibling, or that one mentor you admire from afar.
Sometimes, the right advice or even just someone saying, “You go dey alright,” can calm that storm in your head.
4. Pray or meditate.
Let’s not even lie—life can humble you to the point where you need divine intervention.
Prayyy!!! talk to God, sit in silence, breathe, and try to clear your head.
You’d be surprised how solutions can come when you’re calm.
5. Remember why you started.
At the end of the day, nobody forced you to dream big. You have that vision for a reason.
So remind yourself why you wanted to start in the first place. Hold on to that.
Anyways, this is not me trying to “fix” your life in one post, but I hope this helps even a little.
So tell me, how do you handle moments of confusion?
Let me know in the comments.
See you next timeee!
